The 23" Fun Quilter is exactly the same as your 17" except for the throat depth. The 23" throat depth should be enough to do a motif in a 12" block set on point at the bottom of a king sized quilt without advancing in the middle. It will also allow you to run larger E2E patterns.
The Fun Quilter is still using the Intellistitch Equalizer regulator which has proven itself to be smooth, accurate and reliable.
